For CISOs
Run your security programme from one workspace
The board and the regulator ask about security, risk, vendors and AI in the same meeting. Keep compliance across your frameworks, the risk register, vendor reviews, evidence and board reporting in one workspace with one activity log, and you answer from the current record instead of building a spreadsheet first.
The problem
Most CISOs run the programme across a patchwork: a GRC spreadsheet, a risk register in one tool, vendor reviews in another, evidence in shared drives and a BI dashboard on top. When the board asks about risk posture, the answer takes days to pull together. Certifyi puts that work in one workspace, so the answer is already there.
Where the time goes
- Board reporting
- Every quarter you pull data from several sources, reconcile it, build slides and hope nothing has changed by the time you present.
- Overlapping frameworks
- ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and HIPAA each get their own spreadsheet and evidence folder, so a control they share is evidenced several times over.
- Lower-tier vendors
- Tier 1 vendors are reviewed every year. Tier 2 and 3 vendors get a questionnaire that nobody follows up, until one of them has a breach.
- Evidence that goes stale
- Screenshots go out of date, and an exported CSV cannot show that it has not been edited. When the auditor asks whether something is current, you check by hand.
What is in the workspace
Compliance, risk, vendors, evidence, incidents and reporting share one record, so you can run the programme from the data instead of from spreadsheets.
- Compliance dashboard
- Posture across every framework you adopt. Drill down from framework to domain, control and evidence.
- Risk register
- Each risk is linked to the controls that treat it.
- Board reporting
- Risk heatmaps and drill-through reports laid out for management review.
- Vendor risk
- Vendor assessments by risk tier, questionnaires and a separate portal for vendors.
- Activity log
- One log across every module, with each action hash-chained to the entry before it. If the audit committee asks whether a risk score was changed after the fact, the log can show it.
- Common controls
- Map a control once for ISO 27001, SOC 2 and GDPR, and report on all three from the same evidence.
- AI governance
- A register of AI systems with their EU AI Act risk class, and AI impact assessments.
- Incident management
- Each incident logged, triaged and followed to closure, in the same workspace as the risks and controls it touches.
- Continuous monitoring
- See which controls have evidence and which still need it.
Recommended modules
These modules share one record. A risk in the register links to the controls that treat it, and each control links to its evidence and to the frameworks that require it.
Moving your programme in
How CISOs usually bring their programme into Certifyi.
-
01
Adopt your frameworks
Pick ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR or others from the catalogue. Each control is mapped once, and that mapping serves all of them.
-
02
Connect evidence sources
Connect your cloud providers, identity systems and endpoint tools, and attach their evidence to controls.
-
03
Import your risk register
Upload existing risks from CSV or create them in Certifyi. Link each risk to the controls that treat it.
-
04
Report to the board
Produce risk heatmaps and posture reports from the same record, with no quarterly assembly.
Questions
CISO questions
Does Certifyi replace my existing GRC tools?
It can replace most of them. Certifyi covers compliance, risk, vendor management, incident response, asset management, policy management and reporting in one workspace. If you use a specialist tool for a narrow job, such as quantitative risk modelling, Certifyi can run alongside it.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends on your scope. Adopting a framework is a matter of selecting it from the catalogue, and importing a risk register is a CSV upload.
Is this another dashboard that needs feeding?
No. Certifyi is where your team does the compliance work itself, and the reports draw on that same record. The data stays current because people work in it every day.
How is data isolated between customers?
Each customer gets a dedicated database and application instance, rather than sharing one database filtered by row.
Can I control which team members see which modules?
Yes. Role-based access is set per module and per action, and custom roles let you decide exactly who sees and does what.
What about AI governance?
Certifyi has an AI governance module with an AI system register, EU AI Act risk classification and AI impact assessments. It uses the same controls and evidence as the rest of the platform.

Book a demo with your last board pack in mind. We walk through how its risk, vendor and compliance pages would come out of one workspace and one activity log.
- Each customer workspace has its own database
- Every change written to a tamper-evident activity log
- Auditors get scoped, read-only access
- AI suggestions wait for a person to accept them
