For mid-market
Manage several frameworks without multiplying the work
You have outgrown the spreadsheets. The second or third framework is due, each one has its own tracker, and the vendor list keeps growing. Certifyi runs every framework on one control set in one workspace, with vendor risk, continuous monitoring and board reporting beside it, instead of a separate tool for each.
In short
At some point one framework becomes two, then three. The consultant model does not scale with it, and engineering, IT and legal all need to work on the same controls. Certifyi puts that work in one workspace, where a control is mapped once and reused across frameworks, evidence stays with the control it proves, and everyone who needs the compliance picture can see it.
Where mid-market compliance breaks down
You have a compliance programme. It just does not scale the way the business does.
- Spreadsheet ceiling
- The tracker started in Google Sheets. It is now a multi-tab file that nobody trusts and everyone edits differently.
- Duplicate evidence
- The same firewall configuration is evidence for three frameworks. You collect it three times, store it in three places and update it on three schedules.
- Cross-team work
- Engineering owns infrastructure controls, IT owns access management and legal owns privacy. Each uses a different tool.
- Board reporting
- When the board asks for a compliance summary, someone spends two days pulling data from three tools into a slide deck.
What you get
The parts of the platform that matter most once you run more than one framework.
- Common control mapping
- Map one control to every framework it satisfies. Update it once and SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA all reflect the change.
- Vendor risk at scale
- Structured vendor assessments with risk tiering, questionnaires and a dedicated vendor portal.
- Continuous monitoring
- See the evidence behind each control, and the gaps that still need it, before the next audit.
- Role-based access
- Engineering sees infrastructure controls, legal sees privacy requirements and the CISO sees everything.
- Board reporting
- Risk heatmaps from the risk register, and management reviews recorded in the same workspace.
Framework management
Add frameworks without adding headcount
A second framework should not double the workload. Most of its controls overlap with the ones you already run, but spreadsheets and point tools cannot see the overlap.
Every framework you adopt runs on one common control set. A single control can satisfy ISO 27001 A.5.15 and SOC 2 CC6.1 at once, and its evidence serves both. Applicability is decided per control too, which is what your Statement of Applicability records.
- Adopt a framework from the catalogue and map it to the controls you already have.
- Map a control once, and reuse that mapping in each framework you add after it.
- Set your Statement of Applicability per control.
- Use the gap analysis to see what the new framework needs that you do not have yet.
Vendor management
Grow your vendor programme from dozens to hundreds
At 50 vendors you can manage risk in a spreadsheet. At 200 you cannot. Each vendor needs an initial assessment, periodic reassessment and coordination when an incident happens, and at that volume manual processes stop being reliable.
Certifyi gives each vendor a structured assessment workflow, a risk tier and their own portal. Vendors answer questionnaires in that portal, and each vendor’s evidence stays on its record.
- Assessment workflows. Structured questionnaires with risk tiering and approval steps.
- Vendor portal. Vendors answer questionnaires and upload evidence in their own workspace.
- DORA ICT register. The ICT third-party register financial entities must keep, exported as xBRL-CSV.
Recommended modules
Every module is included. Mid-market teams usually start with compliance, vendor risk and continuous monitoring, and bring in privacy, incident management and AI governance when the programme is ready for them.
How mid-market teams use Certifyi
A typical path from the first framework to several.
-
01
Consolidate
Move your controls, evidence and vendor records into one workspace, importing them from your spreadsheets or starting fresh.
-
02
Map frameworks
Adopt further frameworks and use common control mapping so the shared work is done once.
-
03
Attach evidence
Connect your cloud providers and identity systems, and attach their evidence to controls.
-
04
Scale vendors
Send questionnaires, track responses and give vendors their own portal to reply in.
Questions
Mid-market questions
Can we import our existing compliance data?
Yes. Existing controls, evidence records and vendor lists can be imported from spreadsheets and other structured data, so you do not have to enter them again.
How does common control mapping work?
You map a control once, and every framework that control satisfies reuses the mapping. When you adopt a second framework, the gap analysis shows which of its requirements your existing controls already cover. Evidence linked to a control counts for every framework it is mapped to.
Can different teams see different things?
Yes. Role-based access control in your workspace decides who sees what. Engineering sees infrastructure controls, legal sees privacy and the CISO sees the full picture.
How does board reporting work?
Risk heatmaps come from the risk register, and management reviews are recorded in the same workspace, so the material for a board pack draws on the current record.
Do you support DORA and NIS 2?
Yes. Both frameworks are in the catalogue, and the DORA ICT third-party register exports as xBRL-CSV.
What happens when a framework is updated?
Your team reviews what changed, and the gap analysis shows which controls need work. Existing controls and evidence stay in place.
Add your next framework without starting again.
Book a demo and tell us which frameworks are on this year’s list. You will see one control set cover them, vendor reviews run at volume, and the board report come out of the same record.
- Each customer workspace has its own database
- Every change written to a tamper-evident activity log
- Auditors get scoped, read-only access
- AI suggestions wait for a person to accept them
